Hello everyone, this another episode of WWW Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words, which means I’ll be answering these questions:
- What did you read last?
- What are you currently reading?
- What will you read next?
Hi, everyone! My biggest problem is that I have trouble keeping track of what I read. Goodreads app just sucks because half the time it freezes. The only time I use the computer is if I have a day off. As a result, I'm relying on my memories as well as my terrible note-taking from the book at half-time.
- Ancient Enemy by Christopher Rowley ★☆☆☆☆ The book left me very disappointed. It felt like I was reading a fanfic based on Planet of the Apes.
- The Awakening by Caroline Peckham, Susanne Valenti ★☆☆☆☆ A book I would never recommend. Torture porn summed up this book.
- One Piece. Omnibus, Vol. 1 by Eiichiro Oda ★★★★☆ The popularity of One Piece varies from person to person. As for me, I fall somewhere in between. The first few chapters were boring, and I almost gave up. It was the introduction of Zolo and Nami that caught my attention.
- Just One Damned Thing After Another by Jodi Taylor ★☆☆☆☆ has a very intriguing premise, but the execution is very poor. I had to go through it four times before I was able to complete it.
- Darkest Flame by Donna Grant ★☆☆☆☆ I want to read a sexy dragon story. Instead I read the most cliché Urban Fantasy story. ML is a dragon with terrible hatred of humans, but he wants to bang the female lead. A tough female agent, who has a terrible past, has been betrayed by her associates. Want to be with ML because he's sexy.
- Soul Eater, Vol. 1 by Atsushi Ohkubo ★★☆☆☆ while the Soul Eater world was interesting, the sexualization of the underage female characters brought the rating down.
- Sand Land by Akira Toriyama ★★★★☆ The manga is good, but I felt like I was still reading Dragon Ball when I was reading it.
My full reviews of these books will appear soon.

- The Benevolent Society of Ill-Mannered Ladies by Alison Goodman
- The Awakening by Caroline Peckham, Susanne Valenti ★☆☆☆☆ A book I would never recommend. Torture porn summed up this book.
- The Combat Codes by Alexander Darwin
What are you currently reading? I hope you’re enjoying whatever book you’ve picked up, friends!
